Editorial Policy

This page explains how CBD Kratom Connection researches, writes, reviews and updates its content.

Sources we use

We prefer primary sources: peer-reviewed studies, government publications (FDA, DEA, CDC, NIH and state agencies), court and legislative records, and large published user surveys. When a figure comes from a survey or a small study rather than a controlled trial, we say so. We link to the sources behind every number we publish.

How we write about dosage and effects

  • We report ranges that appear in research and surveys, not personal recommendations.
  • We describe effects as reported by users or observed in studies, and we note where evidence is weak or missing.
  • Every guide that discusses use includes the known risks: dependence and withdrawal, drug interactions, liver reports, and pregnancy.
  • We do not publish how-to guides for combining kratom with opioids, benzodiazepines or alcohol, or for using concentrated or synthetic 7-OH products. We cover those topics as safety and legal information only.

Review and updates

Each guide shows when it was last reviewed. Legal-status pages are rechecked whenever a relevant federal or state rule changes. If you spot an error, tell us and we will correct it and note the change.

Affiliate links

CBD Kratom Connection doesn’t sell products directly, but it is affiliated with the kratom retailers Kratom Herbs and Botanical Monk, and we earn revenue from purchases made there. Any article that links to those stores, or contains other affiliate or sponsored links, says so at the top. Articles that mention our affiliates follow the same sourcing and safety standards as everything else on the site.

Not medical advice

Our content is for general information for adults 21 and older. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor or pharmacist.
